Synergy of actions in terms of climate financing and promotion of the blue economy

The objective of this Side-event is to create a synergy of actions for the mobilization of climate finance in West Africa within a framework of consultation for the financing of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and the promotion of 'Blue Economy. 

Specifically, this will involve: 

• Presenting ECOWASs Climate Strategy and its financing mechanisms; 

• Presenting BOAD's Climate Strategy; 

• Share existing climate financing experiences and opportunities in the region;

• Discussing the promotion of the blue economy;
