Debt for nature swaps: a solution to the debt reduction of WAEMU countries ?

The objective of this event is to present the financial tool that is debt for nature swap or debt exchange against an element of nature. The panelists will present on one hand their experiences in the debt for nature swap process and on the other hand their debt reduction ambitions and the processes which will have to be put in place to achieve this including the identification of the countries with which the exchange will have to take place and the natural elements they have at their disposal to make this exchange a success.
